We offer three main types of architectural lighting. These are wall wash uplighters, LED PAR cans and LED light bars. Each produces an eye-catching wash of light in various colours to create the ideal atmosphere. In addition to standalone mode, useful features such as DMX, master-slave mode, and pre-programmed light shows are often included.

Furthermore, our lighting options come in a range of power ratings to suit different sized spaces, from small walls to large outdoor buildings. Portable options with rechargeable batteries are also available.

DMX control

The majority of our architectural lighting has DMX functionality. This means that lights can be connected together and operated by a DMX controller. As a result, multiple lights can be used in unison, with each light producing the same effect at the same time.

Using DMX is ideal for large settings when multiple lights are in use, as it can synchronise each light. It produces a professional effect and provides full control of the lights and their effects, for example, colour, fade and light shows.

Many units additionally have master/slave synchronisation, meaning that the ‘slave’ units will copy the effect of the ‘master’ unit. This option does not require external DMX equipment. Some lights also include sound-to-light mode, so can respond to music and change colour in time to the beat if desired.

Wash Lights Suitable for Outdoor Use

Most of our units can be used indoors and outdoors. Our weatherproof lighting options have an IP rating which ensures they are protected against rain, dirt and sunlight. This means that they can be installed outdoors without damage.

The use of outdoor lighting is perfect for enhancing the exterior of a building, such as the sides or the front. It is also great at highlighting aspects of a garden.

Choosing the right Architectural Lighting

There are many factors to contemplate when choosing the best architectural lighting. Firstly, consider the different colours and lighting effects that you wish to achieve. Also think about the size of space you want to highlight, to determine the power needed. For instance, a small wall would only require a compact light with a lower wattage.

In addition, think about the number of units you may need. For example, a large building would require several fixtures to achieve the optimum effect.

If you want weatherproof lighting for outdoor use, ensure the unit has an IP rating. This will mean it can withstand adverse weather without damage. Options are also available with integrated rechargeable batteries, which are ideal if mains power sockets are not available.
