As the amplifier outputs 150w MAX per channel at 4 ohms, we would recommend speakers slightly lower powered than this.

Although you can connect your phone/laptop into the red/white RCA input, we would always recommend connecting into a mixer first to balance the signal input.

can I use this amp with my arcam fmj integrated amp with the purpose of the arcam amp being used as a preamp

This is purely dependant on your amplifier and if it has a preamp output. If it does then yes you can connect that to the SPL-300 Input. As its not built as a slave power amp you will need to set the channel volumes. I would suggest 3/4 way up on the SPL then control the volume from the Arcam.
