Product Description

The Skytec SPL-1000 PA power amplifier offers two channels of efficient power handling and a wide frequency range when paired with suitable passive PA speakers. With the multiple inputs and features that this audio power amplifier has to offer, it is a great choice for your PA needs.

Included on this PA system amplifier is a 3-band equaliser that allows you to adjust and customise the sound output to fit your liking. Cut out or boost low, mid and high frequencies so that the audio suits the room it is being used in, as well as the style of music you are playing.

There are three RCA line inputs located on the rear of this PA power amplifier that allows multiple devices to be connected at the same time. To change between each of the inputs, there is a selector switch on the front of the amplifier. This is particularly useful if you have, for example, a mixing desk and a laptop both connected to the amplifier and you need to quickly change between them without the hassle ofswapping the cables over.

When audio is being played through the amplifier, it can sometimes reach volume levels that are dangerously high. To help you recognise this, the SPL-2000 has peak clip indicators that turn red when the volume is getting too high. When these light up, turn the volume down until they turn off, and this will protect the amplifier against overheating and will prolong its overall life.

The SPL-2000 is a rack-mountable amplifier, which means that it can be securely mounted in a flight case or racking system. Installing the amplifier in a flight case will protect it against damage when in transit, and mounting it in a rack system is great to keep it in one place if it's being used in a venue where it won't need to be moved.

What class is this amp???
Question by: Teejay on 3 Apr 2023, 19:04
All PA amplifiers unless otherwise stated use a TDA or MosFet power section running a standard A/B class configuration. We do now stock a few low cost Class D amplifiers if that's what you are looking for - https://electromarket.co.uk/vonyx-vda1000-pa-amplifier

For most customers considering PA amplifiers of such low cost, the operating classification of the output section and power section is not a concern. It only becomes relevant for installation or professional systems.

If you have specific requirements for amplification, feel free to give the team a call on 0203 326 0900 and they will happily supply any information you require and be able to suggest suitable units for your needs.
