Russell's Biography
I've had a passion for music for as long as I can remember, growing up with my parents putting on anything from the Beatles to Jimi Hendrix, U2 to UB40 and a whole lot more.
My career started in retail, at an entertainment store called MVC. I quickly discovered that I had a real enthusiasm for customer service, all of my early jobs being customer service based.
After nearly 10 years in retail, I wanted to take a different direction and combine my love of music and live gigs with a way of making money. I became a live sound engineer, spending a few years doing anything from pub gigs to theatre shows, going on tour and working at festivals.
When I started a family of my own, I needed something to keep me closer to home but retain my enthusiasm for working with sound equipment. Therefore, 10 years ago I came to Electromarket. Having worked in most areas of the company, I'm now putting my knowledge, experience and customer focus to full potential in the customer service department.
Outside of work, it's mostly time with my family, walking the dogs, reading, gaming, and playing guitar/bass.
