This HiFi subwoofer is the SHFS10W model from Fenton, a high-quality active subwoofer for home environments that is perfect to implement into your existing audio system to achieve a wider frequency output. The white finish and compact design of this home audio subwoofer ensures that it works nicely in any sized room with varying colours and designs.

The 10-inch woofer driver of this HiFi subwoofer ensures a deep bass output that can greatly improve the sound of an audio system comprising of only full-range speakers. The woofer has a downfiring design which is great with wooden floors, as the bass tones will be naturally amplified for a richer sound.

Featured on the SHFS10W subwoofer is a switchable phase setting that makes it better to implement into existing home audio systems. The phase setting works by adding a short electronic delay to the incoming audio signal, therefore resulting in the subwoofer and any connected full-range speakers outputting audio at the exact same time for a synchronised output.

As well as a phase setting, this home audio subwoofer features a fully adjustable crossover dial, giving you the ability to choose the exact frequency range that the subwoofer is reproducing. This is particularly useful if you are using full-range speakers with a good level of low-frequency output, as you can ensure that no frequencies are overlapping in the overall mix for a better sound quality.

There are RCA line input and output connections on the rear of this active subwoofer that you can use to connect it to various devices and audio systems. There are also high level connections with bare wire terminals which can be used if your amplifier or AV receiver doesn’t have a dedicated subwoofer output, allowing you to connect it to the standard speaker output.
