The Fenton SHF80W floor standing tower speakers are passive HiFi speakers, meaning they need a separate amplifier in order to be powered. With 500W power, these passive tower speakers offer great volume levels and efficient power handling when connected to a suitable power amplifier.

These floor standing speakers have a 3-way design with 3x 6.5" woofers and a tweeter driver per speaker. The woofers reproduce all of the low and mid frequencies in an audio mix while the tweeter reproduces all of the high frequencies, ensuring a well-rounded frequency response.

As well as having a 3-way design, these HiFi speakers feature rear-firing bass reflex ports. These ports expel the air built up within the cabinet that is being produced by the drivers, adding an extra deep and defined layer to the bass response of the speakers. The rear-firing design is perfect when placed near or against a wall, as the bass output will sound better within the room, ideal for music or entertainmentpurposes.

Once connected to a suitable power amplifier or receiver with powered output, these tower speakers are capable of stereo audio. This means that the left and right signals of any audio are split between the two speakers, providing great immersion levels when watching TV or listening to music.
