Product Description

These passive studio monitors from Fenton offer 200W power and high-quality stereo audio. When connected to a suitable amplifier with a stereo output, the left and right signals of an audio mix will be split between the two speakers, providing a sense of dimension to the sound and allowing you to hear every aspect of an audio mix clearly, great for mixing purposes.

The 2-way design of these recording monitors includes a 4" woofer and a 2" dome tweeter. This design means that the frequency range of any audio will be split between each driver so that the woofer handles all of the low and mid frequencies while the tweeter reproduces all the high frequencies. This provides clear and precise audio, perfect when mixing music.

Studio speakers, in general, should be at ear level with the listener for the most accurate audio possible. The trapezoid shape of these studio monitors achieves this, as the speakers are aimed slightly upwards so the sound is directed towards the listener's head, providing clear audio without the need for any stands.

The speakers are lined with a durable acoustic damping felt material which reduces resonation and unwanted vibrations when audio is being reproduced. For mixing purposes in a studio, this is ideal, as it means that you are hearing only the audio intended to be heard rather than natural acoustics and vibrations that may hinder your mixing abilities.

With a compact design, these studio speakers can be placed in tight spaces in small rooms. The compact design is ideal for small home studio setups as the speakers don't take up much space while still providing high-quality audio.

Product Questions
Can you mount them to the wall?
Question by: Mary Filts on 7 Mar 2019, 14:54
Although the speakers do not come with wall brackets, you could buy some brackets separately that can attach to the back of the speakers to fix them onto a wall.
Answer by: Ben Williams on 7 Mar 2019, 14:57
What cables do I need to connect the speakers to an amplifier?
Question by: Fern Wistin on 7 Mar 2019, 14:55
All you require is some bare wire speaker cable.
Answer by: Ben Williams on 7 Mar 2019, 14:57
Can I plug my phone into these?
Question by: Shaun Zopper on 7 Mar 2019, 14:55
Not directly into the speaker as it is a passive speaker, to use your phone you will also require an amplifier.
Answer by: Ben Williams on 7 Mar 2019, 14:57
What amplifier should I use with these speakers?
Question by: Pete Still on 7 Mar 2019, 14:56
These speakers are rated at 100w MAX per speaker, so we would recommend a small hifi amplifier that outputs at least 100w per channel at 8 ohms.
Answer by: Ben Williams on 7 Mar 2019, 14:57
What are the dimensions of the speakers?
Question by: Geoff Foders on 7 Mar 2019, 14:56
39cm x 28cm x 20cm.
