Thank you for your enquiry, unfortunately we do not appear to be able to get hold of that information for you from the supplier, but I would assume that as these are only budget level speakers that it is unlikely they are shielded in this way.

can subwoofers be connected to any of the vonyx monitor range? as they don't seen to have a designated connection on the rear of any I have viewed

If you wanted to connect an external subwoofer you would either require a mixer with separate outputs, or you could connect your audio device into the subwoofer, then come out of a line out connection into the monitor speakers
