I love the mixer but...
Vonyx AM8A 8 Channel Powered Mixer with DSP & Bluetooth
I love the mixer but the volume for the USB/Bluetooth input suddenly dropped about 15 dB a few months ago and I can nothing obvious inside it (I'm an electronics engineer). Otherwise works perfectly. Just can't always get enough loudness from that input.

Vonyx AM8A 8 Channel Powered Mixer with DSP & Bluetooth
Excellent little mixer when you've sorted the sound correctly, I have mine connected to Max 10" Speakers and the power and sound is more than enough for a small venue.

Vonyx AM8A 8 Channel Powered Mixer with DSP & Bluetooth
Used the mixer for the first time at a band rehearsal last night. Easy to set up despite poor instructions.
Sounded great through our old pa speakers and through our active monitors. Crisp clear sound and no hiss through the speakers, just some cooling fan noise. This was drowned out by the band! No doubt we will refine the settings more as time goes by.

Does what it should at a reasonable price
Vonyx AM8A 8 Channel Powered Mixer with DSP & Bluetooth
All seems to function as expected and has a nice tidy layout to it. Okay, so the DSP isn't as feature-rich as some others - but at the price that's not really something to complain about. I'm using 300 watt, 8 ohm speakers and the volume is adequate - but not deafening. But, again, at the price, it's more an observation than a complaint. Would buy it again if it got stolen or irreparably damaged - but let's hope that doesn't happen!

The powered outputs are 1/4" jacks however the line level outputs for active speakers are XLR

If you wanted to yes. The rear panel has 6.35mm left and right jack outs which use the mixers built-in amp for passive speakers.
The are balanced XLR main signal outs which can be taken to an active speaker or amplifier
