A classic design for active PA speakers, the Skytec SP1500A features a durable ABS plastic enclosure with moulded carry handles, wheels, and lean-back design for use as a wedge monitor. Skytec active powered speakers offer high performance and incredible value for money.

The SP1500A active speakers are fitted with a 15-inch main woofer and 1.35-inch piezo horn tweeter unit which provide a full-range output of 40Hz-20kHz, driven by the built-in 800W max / 400W RMS power amplifier. There is adjustment for treble and bass levels to suit your taste along with a master volume setting.

These powered PA speakers offer great versatility with their tough cabinet design allowing for floor use, pole mounting, foldback monitoring and even stacking. They feature built-in wheels and a pull out trolley handle for ease of transport and are suitable for a wide range of sound performance duties for mobile DJs and live performers.

The 2-way design of these active PA speakers provide

a full-range reproduction with powerful bass and a clear top-end thats great with both recorded and live music. The SP1500A has the convenience of direct microphone input with both balanced and unbalanced connections and level adjustment, along with XLR and stereo RCA line inputs for hooking up a direct audio source or the feed from a mixer.

As with most professional active speakers, the SP1500A provides a direct line output for easy daisy-chain connection of additional powered PA speakers, with either a 6.35mm jack or XLR socket to suit your preferred cable method. The output includes an anti-clip system with LED indicator, and the amplifier has fused protection against both thermal damage and mains spikes.
