Is this amplifier suitable for a band PA system using a mixing desk?

Yes, you can connect a mixing desk to the line inputs on the back of the amplifier, but whether it is suitable for your PA system depends on the speakers you have. This amplifier provides 250W RMS power at 8 Ohms per channel, for example, so your speakers need to be no more than 250W each if they operate at 8 Ohms
