The Q Acoustics QI65CB in ceiling speakers have been designed to offer exceptional value while still providing the performance and sound quality you would expect from a Q Acoustics product. This classic low profile ceiling speaker for home is an excellent match for lower powered wall-mount stereos and HiFi systems.
The high efficiency rating of the QI65CB in ceiling speakers makes them very easy to match with a number of amplifiers and stereo systems. In fact it requires less than half the amplifier power of the standard Qi65C to produce the same volume of sound, so is a perfect match for lower output amplifiers.
The full range 6.5-inch woofer driver has been carefully designed to provide a good bass extension and detailed mid-range with an extended high frequency capability, all without the need for the conventional crossover network and coaxial tweeter arrangement you would find on the higher cost Q Acoustics ceiling speakers.
A classic low profile bezel and flush fit grille design with magnetic fitting has been designed to optimise sound projection and give a truly discreet appearance. Its 73mm rear depth allows for installation in tighter ceiling cavities and the QI65CB meets UL94 specification for flame retardancy.
The QI65CB ceiling speakers have been designed to provide high quality sound for home applications and are suitable for all areas of the house except for high moisture areas (bathrooms and some kitchens).
