The PDY218SA from Power Dynamics is a high-quality 18-inch active PA subwoofer with 1000W class-D amplification. On the back of this PA subwoofer, there are two sets of balanced XLR outputs. The other set of outputs are high pass outputs, which send only mid and high-range frequencies out to external speakers. This is perfect for connecting satellite full-range speakers to the subwoofer, as it ensures that the subwoofer handles all bass frequencies while your top speakers can focus on the top-range, resulting in higher volume levels and a better overall quality of sound.

An adjustable crossover is available on this active subwoofer, allowing you to tailor the frequency response to match the needs of the audio source, venue, and other speakers in your PA system. There are side handles built into each side of the cabinet for simple movement, and there is a universal 35mm tophat mounting hole on the top of the subwoofer that allows you to mount your top speakers using a suitable speaker pole.
