Product Description

The Power Dynamics PDY215SA is a high-quality 15-inch active PA subwoofer that is perfect for clubs, live music venues, and large spaces that require room-filling sound. With a built-in 900W class D amplifier, this active sub provides efficient power handling and reproduction of sound, making it highly versatile and a valuable addition to a wide range of PA systems.

On the back panel of this PA subwoofer, you'll find two pairs of balanced XLR outputs. One set emits a full-range signal, ideal for linking to another subwoofer or amplifier. On the other hand, the high-pass output sends only mid and high-range frequencies out. This is designed for connecting satellite speakers to the sub, as it ensures the active sub manages the bass, while the primary speakers focus on the midrange and treble, optimising volume and overall sound quality.

An adjustable crossover function on this subwoofer enables users to adjust the frequency output depending on the sound source, venue, andthe accompanying speakers in their setup. In addition, a phase switch is present, which adds a slight delay to the audio being reproduced by the subwoofer in order to integrate better and perform in sync with the rest of your PA system.

Balanced XLR inputs are provided on the back of the PDY215SA subwoofer, which are ideal when connecting a mixing desk for the best possible sound quality. There are also unbalanced 6.3mm Jack inputs provided if you prefer to use jack cables, as well as a stereo RCA line input which is ideal for simpler connection to devices such as laptops or DJ controllers.

Durability is key with this active sub, courtesy of its sturdy plywood housing complemented by a rugged exterior coating. Incorporated side handles ensure convenient movement of the subwoofer, and the 35mm tophat hole on the top of the housing allows easy mounting of satellite speakers using a suitable speaker pole.
