Product Questions
What speakers do you recommend with this amp? Do I need passive or powered speakers?
Question by: Keith on 11 Jul 2020, 17:13
Something like a pair of the SL8 (BBA0585) speakers would be fine for this amplifier, you need passive speakers, preferably lower powered ones
Answer by: Russell Nie on 13 Jul 2020, 10:26
how do i change the channel

Can multiple speakers be connected to all the output connection at the back with different inpedances.
Say 2 x Speakon connections to 8hom speakers and 2 x 6.35mm jacks to 2 x 4ohm Speakers (example 2 x 4ohm active subwoofers)??
Question by: James on 27 Aug 2020, 06:41
with this product you could utilize both the speakon and 1/4" Jack outputs to run 4 speakers although you would need all speakers at 8 Ohms, this amplifier will only run at 8 or 4 Ohms so available configurations

2 X 8 ohm @ 8 ohm
4 X 8 ohm @ 4 ohm
2 X 4 ohm @ 4 ohm

Just bought the c405a package. What lead do i need to connect my laptop please.
Question by: Mark Hopkinson on 26 Apr 2023, 00:12
That amplifier has several different line inputs, so for a laptop you can either use a 3.5mm to 3.5mm jack lead such as this - https://electromarket.co.uk/pd-connex-cable-3-5mm-stereo-mini-jack-male-plug-audio-lead-headphone-aux-mp3-3m

or a 3.5mm to Stereo RCA lead like this - https://electromarket.co.uk/skytronic-cable-3-5-stereo-2rca-2-5m

We have different lengths of each type available - https://electromarket.co.uk/cables/audio-signal-cables

Hi, I’m connecting a DJ controller (pioneer xdj-rx3) what lead will I need? The controller has both RCA and/or XLR master outputs, as options.
Then where abouts on the amp would I plug this lead into?
Thanks
Question by: Keiron West on 26 Apr 2023, 15:03
You are limited with this particular amplifier as it is intended for more general PA use rather than DJ work. The simplest connection for you will be a standard stereo RCA to RCA cable, which can go into the line input on channel 4, located on the front panel.

We have several lengths and quality levels of RCA to RCA cable available here - https://electromarket.co.uk/cables/audio-signal-cables
