The PDW8B from Power Dynamics is a passive wall mount speaker with a black finish, ideal for installation in clubs or commercial environments where a high volume level and wide frequency range is required. This on wall speaker’s black housing helps it blend in seamlessly with any environment.

A 2-way driver layout is used with this wall mountable speaker, featuring a separate 8-inch woofer in a bass reflex enclosure, and a 1-inch wide-dispersion titanium dome tweeter. There is an inbuilt passive crossover that splits the frequency range of any audio between these drivers once connected to a suitable power amplifier, resulting in a powerful output with deep bass output, crisp mids and clear highs.

Included with the PDW8B wall mount speaker is an adjustable metal wall mounting bracket, which screws easily into the back of the speaker. The bracket has an adjustable design which makes it easy to angle for the best sound dispersion, and it can be angled on a vertical and horizontal axis for freedom of placement in any environment.

This passive on wall speaker uses NL4 speakon connectors, which have a twist-and-lock design for a reliable connection to a power amplifier. The locking design of these connections makes it nearly impossible for cables to be pulled out, ensuring a sturdy setup once installed.

The trapezoidal shape of the cabinet of this speaker means that sound is distributed at a wide angle, which is perfect for installations in large and open spaces for an even spread of sound. This design also makes this speaker suitable for standard wall mounting, or horizontal mounting as part of an array system for music venues and clubs.
