The PDS40B pendant speaker is a 30W hanging speaker suitable for use as speech and background music systems in a commercial setting with high ceilings.

This hanging speaker can be used in 100V line or 8 Ohm operation depending on the size of the system they are used in. For smaller installations where a fewer number of speakers are required then 8 Ohm operation would be best, and for larger installations where several speakers are needed, 100V line operation would work better.

The Power Dynamics PDS40B pendant loudspeaker is a 2-way coaxial speaker with a 5.25-inch polypropylene woofer and a 1-inch mylar dome tweeter which provides perfect speech reproduction and high-quality background music performance which is great for announcements in commercial buildings as well as background music.

Supplied with a 2.2m signal cable with a steel core, this speaker is ready to hang from ceilings without the need for any additional reinforcement to keep it securely in place forinstallations, perfect for commercial systems in warehouses and factories.

The PDS40B pendant speaker is fitted with a magnetic grille, these are easily removable for customisation and access to the drivers while protecting the speaker cones from any foreign objects and damage.
