The set of wireless speakers for kitchen use comes in an active/passive design, with one active and one passive speaker included. This makes set-up convenient as the active speaker has a built-in class-D amplifier and connects directly to the mains, while the passive speaker connects to the active unit with the included speaker cable. An external amplifier is not needed, and the passive speaker does not require its own power source.

Both speakers in the integrated kitchen speaker set have a coaxial two way design, with a separate 8-inch midbass woofer and a half-inch tweeter driver. This provides a balanced sound, as the woofer handles lowerfrequencies, while the tweeter reproduces higher frequencies.
