The Max MX700 speaker set that is included in this party DJ setup consists of a subwoofer and two satellite speakers with stands, providing a wide frequency range with volume levels perfect for home or small events. The stands allow the satellite speakers to be elevated while the subwoofer stays at ground level, therefore filling a room efficiently with sound.

In this DJ starter kit, two large pressure-sensitive jog wheels on the Inpulse 300 DJ controller allow you to scratch the audio of each channel on the controller like a traditional turntable. The jog wheels also allow you to perfectly synchronise the music playing on the controller, with light guidance providing a visual aid for ease of alignment of two tracks.

An IMA, or Intelligent Music Assistant, is an excellent function included with the Inpulse 300 DJ console. You can obtain music recommendations based on the songs you're listening to or have recently played by pushing the Assistant button in the centre of the controller. There's also an energy level dial, which lets you adjust the music choices according to how energetic you want them to be.

There are 16 total touch pads on the DJ mixer controller (8 on each side of the deck) that allow you to customise the music with functions such as hot cue, loop, FX, slicer, and sampler on each channel. These effects may be applied in real time, making the controller more responsive and allowing you to create custom mixes.
