The mixer has six channels dedicated to line inputs for instruments and XLR mic inputs, which is perfect for live bands. It can also be used to play music, such as backing tracks for solo singers, and a microphone is included for vocalists. The speakers have an excellent low-end response, ensuring that this setup is ideally suited to use for live music in small-medium sized venues.

The Studiomaster XS10 mixer in this bundle has six channels for bands to use for connecting musical instruments and microphones. You can apply any one of sixteen DSP effects to each channel, adding depth and variation to the sound. You can balance each member’s output with the three-band EQ controls and compression dials, and the different parts can be blended together using the volume faders and pan controls. These features allow you to perfect the mix for your small band’s PA system.

This setup is also ideal as a PA system for singers, as the mixer provides multiple options for music playback. It is fitted with a Bluetooth receiver, which allows you to wirelessly play music via a pairing with your smartphone or tablet. Alternatively, a wired connection can be made with other audio devices, such as a laptop, using the AUX or stereo RCA inputs. This is perfect for solo vocal acts, as they can use these functions to play backing tracks to sing along to.

Two speakers are also included, which come with tripod stands that can be adjusted between 100 and 175cm. These speakers come as an active/passive pair, so no additional amplifier is required, and they have 12-inch woofer drivers to ensure an excellent bass response. On both of the speakers, the woofer is surrounded by a ring of blue LEDs, which can be made to flash in time with the music. This visual effect is a great addition to live performances for bands and singers.

A hand-held microphone is also provided in this PA system package. This is a wired microphone, and it can be connected to the mixer using one of its six XLR inputs.
