The I8W wall mount speaker from Moose Sound is a high-quality passive on wall speaker for professional installation in a range of venues, such as restaurants, conference rooms, bars, sports clubs and retail shops. Providing an extremely wide frequency response and fantastic clarity for both speech and music, the Moose I8W is simple to connect to a suitable amplifier, with its stylish and sturdy white housing blending in perfectly with a range of surrounding environments.

A 2-way driver arrangement is used with this on-wall passive speaker, with a separate 8-inch woofer and high-sensitivity 1-inch kapton tweeter driver. The crossover in the speaker splits the frequency range of any audio effectively between these separate drivers, resulting in efficient sound reproduction and extremely clear reproduction of low, mid and high frequencies, which is ideal for both speech and music purposes.

This passive wall mount speaker operates at 8-Ohm low impedance, with a 340W programRMS rating for use with high-power amplifiers in large commercial environments. There is also the option to install an external 100V line transformer, making the I8W highly versatile for use in different sized systems with varying speaker quantities and available amplifier power outputs.

On the back of this on wall speaker are two NL4 Speakon terminals in order to connect it to a suitable amplifier, with the twist-and-click design of these connections keeping the cables securely in place without the worry of them being pulled out. There is also a Euroblock terminal to use standard bare wire speaker cables, with a link output to daisy chain another speaker for simpler setup.

Four M5 inserts are provided on the back of this passive speaker, which you can use to attach a wall mount for permanent vertical or horizontal installation on wall and ceiling surfaces. In addition to this, there is a universal 35mm tophat connection on the bottom of the housing, which is perfect to mount it on a vertically on a speaker stand for mobile purposes.
