Product Description

The Max GIGKIT beginner electric guitar kit is an all-in-one package, perfect for beginner and more experienced players. With an electric guitar, amplifier and multiple accessories included, you have everything you need to start learning in a comfortable and simple way.

The guitar included in this starter electric guitar pack has 22 frets with 3 pickups and a pickup selector switch. The 22 frets give you access to 4 pitch octaves, allowing you to play a wide range of riffs, hooks and chords. The selector switch with the three pickups give you the choice to adjust the sound to your liking, whether you want it to sound bright with minimal resonation, or muddier with high resonation.

This electric guitar starter pack includes a beginner amplifier. The 40w amplifier is compact, allowing for placement in tight spaces and smaller rooms, and it has EQ control using the bass, mid and treble dials to further customise and adjust the sound to your liking. There is also a gain dialwhich makes it suitable for multiple genres of music, whether it be pop, jazz or metal.

On the amplifier, there is a 3.5mm jack AUX input. This allows the connection of a device such as a laptop or a smartphone to the amplifier for audio playback, great to play along to backing tracks for learners. As well as this, there is a headphone output that allows you to listen to your playing in silence, great for late-night practising without disturbing your neighbours or members of your household.

This beginner electric guitar kit includes multiple additional accessories that will make your starting experience simple. With an extra set of strings, you are covered should one of the strings snap, and the included tuner allows you to perfectly tune the guitar. The included carry bag allows for simple portability and preserving the condition of the guitar when in storage, and it includes a zipped pocket to store the additional accessories so that they are all in one place.

Product Questions
What age is this suitable for
Question by: W boland on 8 Sep 2022, 21:50
Its a full size guitar, so 5-6 years olds would likely be the youngest age, simply due to physical size of the guitar.
Answer by: Glenn Newton on 9 Sep 2022, 09:25
can a 12 year old use and learn this?
Question by: Poppy on 3 Oct 2022, 18:45
Yes of course, these kits are primarily aimed at younger beginners to get them started.
Answer by: Glenn Newton on 4 Oct 2022, 10:01
Why does the electric guitar i purchased sound so acoustic? I'm not sure if its the amp or the wire or anything but the sound from it has little to no distortion??
Question by: shap on 17 Dec 2022, 15:08
The amplifier has gain adjustment and a boost/drive button which will increase the output. For proper distortion though you would need to add an effects pedal of some type. This is the same for any electric guitar, they do not provide distortion without pedals, not unless you are using an amplifier designed for it which will be several hundred pounds
Answer by: Glenn Newton on 19 Dec 2022, 10:40
I purchased this for my 12-year-old son and unfortunately, the amp makes an awful buzzing sound! Any suggestions please as I have a very disappointed son, is the amp it came with faulty?
