DJ Light Packages

There are many different DJ lights that can be very effective when paired with a DJ’s musical routine. Lights that are included in our DJ light packages include the likes of moving head lights, moonflower lights, par cans and laser lights. Also included are smoke machines, which can massively improve the effects of the lighting.

The lights you need to DJ depends on your DJ set, and the genre(s) of music that you play. For example, if you are playing high-energy house music in your set, strobe lights would be a good choice because of its rapid flashing effect that can be synchronised with the music.

A good lighting setup can really enhance a DJ routine. It can set the mood and atmosphere that can compliment the music; for example, soft and warm lighting can create a more intimate vibe, whereas bright and vibrant lighting can create a high-energy ambience for dance music.

Lighting can also be synchronised with the music, which allows total creativity with a DJ’s routine. Strobe lights can be used for this, since their flashing mechanic allows them to flash on the beat of a song.

Moonflower lights are a type of lighting fixture that creates colourful and dynamic lighting effects. They are called "moonflower" lights because their pattern of light is similar to the shape of a flower, with several petals radiating from a central point.

Moonflower lights use LEDs or halogen lamps to project a beam of light onto a rotating mirror that reflects the light in different directions. The mirror rotates at different speeds, causing the beam of light to create a variety of patterns and shapes. Some moonflower lights also include colour filters or gobos to create even more intricate patterns and designs.

Laser lights are intense beams of light that are produced by a device called a laser. The word "laser" is an acronym for "Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation".

In a laser, light is produced by exciting atoms or molecules to a higher energy state, and then allowing them to release that energy as a burst of light. The resulting light is coherent, meaning that all the waves are in phase with each other and have the same frequency and polarisation.
