Hi, no these aren't really suitable for anything other than background music for that many people/that size venue, we do have packages of these speakers with mics available.

Hi, yes looking to have some background music at a small party of approx 70 people in a small to medium size hall. Wasn't looking to spend loads on the item but still want something that will allow the guests to hear the music in the hall over the talking. Also need a single mic to go with the unit to make announcements. Current music is on SD, Mobile and Laptop too.

The smallest system I would recommend for an event like this would be something like the following pair vonyx hi end 10 bluetooth active speakers with stands
It's a compact system but having it on stands means they would actually seem louder than the larger speakers you were looking at due to them being more at head height. The active speaker still has bluetooth, as well a able to accept SD and USB cards, and an inout from a laptop providing you have the right cable.
If you wanted an affordable microphone that has a switch to be able to control it better I would recommend the following to go with it vonyx dm825 wired microphone
