Product Description

The Fenton AV550BT is a 5.1 home cinema amplifier that is perfect for use with passive surround speakers to create an immersive listening experience in your home. It is ideal for viewing TV and movies, listening to music, and hosting karaoke parties, making it an extremely effective and versatile addition to your home audio system.

This home amplifier provides five powered stereo outputs that you can use with suitable passive speakers to create a surround system in your living room, study or bedroom. There are separate volume controls for the left and right surround channels and the central channel, making it extremely easy to alter the sound to achieve the best results.

There is a dedicated subwoofer line output on the back of this home theatre amplifier, which has a stereo RCA connection in order to connect an active HiFi subwoofer to the system. There are also two stereo RCA line inputs on the rear of this home cinema amplifier, which you can use to connect devices such as DVD players and TVs.

Bluetooth connectivity is an option provided by this home amplifier, giving you the ability to pair your smartphone or tablet and stream audio wirelessly. Once your smart device is paired, you can use any app or website of your choice to listen to music, audiobooks or podcasts, making the amplifier ideal for many purposes at home.

In addition to the line inputs and Bluetooth technology, there are two microphone inputs available on this home amplifier. These give you the ability to connect two mics at a time for karaoke purposes, with adjustable bass and treble controls, as well as an adjustable echo effect available for both microphone channels.

Product Questions
For this amplifier it states that the subwoofer line output connects a active subwoofer. However my question is if it can connect a passive subwoofer
Question by: Ashton on 22 May 2023, 21:59
No it cant run a passive sub. The sub out connection is a bass filtered line signal, designed to go into an amplifier.
