This DJ starter kit features the SMN40W DJ monitor speakers provide high-quality audio in a stereo format as they are supplied in an active-passive set. The active unit can be connected directly to a mains power socket with the included DC adapter and has an inbuilt amplifier of 100W. Connecting the two speakers together with the included speaker cable means that the passive speaker will be powered on for use. 

Consisting of a four-inch woofer and a one-inch dome tweeter, this small DJ setup guarantees a defined audio production. Capable of two-way sound, the expansive frequency response covers a good balance of bass and midrange accompanied by punchy high-end frequencies. You can dial in your preferred speaker sounds with the added bass and treble controls, allowing complete versatility and customisation in the final output.

Added RCA line-in sockets allow you to connect external audio sources, such as mixers, computers and media players, to use in conjunction with the monitor speakers.

The most unique features of the Inpulse 200 are the Intelligent Music Assistance (IMA) and the energy level dial. Turning on the IMA means that you will automatically recommend songs to cue that relate to previous songs played. 

The energy level dial is illuminated to display the intensity setting. When the dial is low and the light is blue, calmer tracks will be played. When it is high and the light is red, more energetic, intense songs will be played. This is a great feature to match the atmosphere of parties and gigs.

Also, the Beat-Match function makes the tracks you are mixing align in tempo for better results that seem cohesive and precise. Partnering this with the hot cue, loop, fx, and sampler effects will make your mixes seem especially high level. Jog wheels, tempo and pitch sliders provide a more traditional DJ aesthetic, where scratching and searching tracks can be done, and songs can be sped up or slowed down.
