Included in this DJ package for beginners are the Vonyx SMN40B studio monitor speakers. Supplied as a pair in an active/passive design, means that one speaker has a built-in amplifier while the second speaker is non-powered and connects to the main unit using the included speaker cable.

Providing high-quality stereo sound, the SMN40B speakers have a 2-way design with a separate 4" woofer and 1" dome tweeter per unit, providing extremely accurate sound reproduction. They also feature rear-firing acoustic reflex ports that provide a deep and defined bass response to ensure you can hear every aspect of your mix clearly.

The Inpulse 200 DJ controller is an especially useful unit to have as part of your bedroom DJ setup as it offers loads of effects perfect for novices and pros alike. Only requiring a USB connection to a computer device, it is easy to set up and can be used on both Windows and Mac OS systems.

The most unique features of the Inpulse 200 are the Intelligent Music Assistance (IMA) and the energy level dial. Turning on the IMA means that it recommends songs to cue relating to previous songs played. The energy level dial is illuminated to display the intensity setting. When the light is blue, calmer/softer tracks will be played. When the light is red, more intense songs will be played.

Furthermore, the Beat-Match function makes the tracks you are mixing align in tempo for better results that seem cohesive and precise. Partnering this with the professional effects available will make your mixes seem especially high level. Jog wheels offer a more traditional DJ aesthetic, where scratching and searching tracks can be done, and songs can be sped up or slowed down manually.
