This DJ equipment package is guaranteed to suit any of your gigging needs with a full soundscape on offer, with a heavy presence of bass attainable via the SWA15 bass bin. With its own inbuilt amplifier, this subwoofer only requires a connection to a mains power supply in order to work. Whereas the SL10 passive speakers need to be connected to an amplifier, which fortunately the CDJ500 mixer-amplifier provides.

Divert all the lowest frequencies of your music to the sub by outputting from the mixer's RCA line-out using the twin RCA cable provided. The frequency range of the SWA15 goes as low as you'll need to fill any medium-sized venue with deep bass. By making it deal with the lower end of the range, you can use the SL10s as top speakers that deliver on clear and punchy midrange and high end, creating a full sounding performance of this DJ package.

To get your gigs up and running quickly, the CDJ500 negates the need for an additional amplifier to power the passive speakers and has several professional onboard effects to create great mixes. Cue, loop, crossfade, pitch bend are all usable in relation to your mixes for an interesting final result. Using the jog wheels allows you to search for specific sections of songs to apply effects to, and you can also make the well-known scratch sound during your sets.
