With a pair of home monitor speakers, a DJ controller, headphones, Serato DJ Lite software and the cables needed to connect it all together, this DJ package for beginners is great for kids or starters of all ages.

Within this kit are the SMN30B speakers, an active/passive stereo monitor set. These studio monitor speakers provide high-quality stereo sound and their 2-way design covers a wide frequency range and accurate sound reproduction. On the rear of each speaker is an acoustic reflex port that amplifies the bass frequencies being reproduced, resulting in a crisp and deep sound.

The active/passive design of the SMN30B speakers means that one unit has an amplifier built into it while the second unit is passive and connects to the main speaker using the included speaker cable. This design is great for beginners, as all of the controls that you can adjust are located on the main unit, making it extremely easy to change any settings.

Included in this DJ set for kids is the starlight DJ controller from Hercules, a compact unit that can be used on the go. Powered via a USB connection, it works by being connected to a laptop or computer, allowing you the freedom to use it on the go or at a venue with no need for a mains power connection.

It includes the Serato DJ Lite software, which can be used on different operating system-enabled computers. The software is exceptionally user friendly for beginners and experts.

Effects featured on the controller means you can make unique mixes with ease. The crossfade allows smooth transitions between two tracks/channels of the controller. Use hot cues and loops to make the tracks play specific sections of songs you want to mix.

Pressure-sensitive jog wheels provide you with the traditional turntable feel so thatyou can scratch tracks. Moreover, all buttons and pads on the starlight are illuminated with colourful lights so that you can use them with no hassle and even visualise the beat to make very precise changes in your mix.

Fitted with two 3.5mm jack outputs, you can use the included headphones alongside the controller to listen to your mixes live with no delay in audio playback. The master output socket allows you to connect speakers during performances and shows.
