CARLSBRO DRUM KITS

Harness the ‘Commander” sound module with its built-in MIDI IN/OUT function to record and playback drums straight into your digital audio workstation (DAW) such as Logic Pro, Cubase or GarageBand. Some Carlsbro Drum Kit models even feature mesh heads (to emulate the dynamic feel of a real snare drum), a drum tuition mode, as well as hundreds of built-in drum timbres to achieve the desired tonality of your home studio projects / live shows. CSD100 & CSD120

While indeed the more inexpensive options have fewer features built-in it is the ideal way to begin learning about percussion. The CSD100 & CSD120 starter kits have hundreds of high-quality drum voices (E.g. if you wanted to turn your kit into Caribbean steel drums, it’s doable) and are fab for recording your own drum tracks or practising along to your favourite music / the 20 demo songs built into the module.

CSD130

Climbing up in price means stacking up the features! The CSD130 range has double the voices mentioned just above, an added “Coach” function which is a tuition tool to help with practising various beat patterns, drum fills, rudiments and playing to a metronome. Specifically, the CSD130 R-PLUS comes with a dual-zone snare for rimshots, chokable cymbals and increased velocity sensitivity for a more natural and professionally expressive dynamic to your playing.
