This bedroom DJ setup is a compact system, making it great to use in small spaces. The compact design also makes it easy to move should you need to use it anywhere other than your bedroom. Providing high-quality stereo sound with volume levels ideal for use at home, this DJ package for beginners has everything you need to start DJing.

Within this kit are the SMN30B speakers, an active/passive stereo monitor set. These studio monitor speakers provide high-quality stereo sound and their 2-way design covers a wide frequency range and accurate sound reproduction. On the rear of each speaker is an acoustic reflex port which amplifies the bass frequencies being reproduced, resulting in a crisp and deep sound.

The active/passive design of the SMN30B speakers means that one unit has an amplifier built into it while the second unit is passive and connects to the main speaker using the included speaker cable. This design is great for beginners, as all of the controls that you canadjust are located on the main unit, making it extremely easy to change any settings.

This beginner DJ set includes the Hercules DJControl Compact DJ controller, a small and user-friendly audio controller that offers many functions ideal for beginner or more experienced DJs. The Compact is USB powered, meaning that it connects directly into the USB socket of a PC or laptop in order to be powered.

On each side of the Hercules Compact are 2 rotary jog wheels, providing the ability to 'scratch' the digital audio playing through the system as well as line up the tracks on each side of the controller precisely. There are also 4 illuminated performance pads with effects such as loop, cut-cue and sample, giving you plenty of options to create your own personal mixes at home.

Included with this bedroom DJ setup is the DJUCED 18 software. This is a fantastic software for beginner DJs and kids as it includes features such as video DJ academy, interactive help, IMA (IntelligentMusic Assistant) and beatmatch guides. That being said, it is a modular interface so you can customise it to fit your tastes, making it also great for more advanced DJs.
