As a powerful wall wash effect, the BeamZ Star-Color 540Z is perfect for outdoor architectural lighting. It is weatherproofed to withstand damage from water and dirt, and has a zoom angle that can be adjusted from a tight beam to a broad wash effect. Seventy-two 0.2W LEDs provide a backlight for thirty-six powerful 15W LEDs arranged in four rows, all with colour mixing. You can customise the light’s output with an external wired or wireless DMX controller. This effect is perfect for illuminating buildings like restaurants or churches as well as gardens.

The Star-Color 540Z is a weatherproof lighting unit, so it is suitable for use outdoors. It is weatherproof to an IP65 standard, so it will not be damaged by rain, hose jets or dirt when used outside. This is thanks to the sealed power and DMX ports, as well as the tempered glass lenses. Consequently, this light is suitable for outdoor lighting all year round.

In order to provide its powerful outdoor wall wash lighting, the Star-Color 540Z is equipped with 36x 15W LEDs. These are split into four rows of nine, which feature RGBW colour mixing and individual control of each row, resulting in an extremely bright and varied output. A backlight, formed of 72 smaller RGB LEDs, adds further texture to the display. The variable output is ideal for architectural lighting, allowing you to choose a colour and intensity that matches the atmosphere of your venue.

As well as the various colour options available with this light, it also has a motorised zoom. This allows you to adjust the beam angle between a very narrow beam of 7 degree and a wide wash effect of 58 degree. The tight beam can be used to highlight specific areas on objects on your building’s exterior, while the full 58 degree is suitable for lighting an entire wall. The variation of the zoom gives you plenty of options for how to utilise this light.

To control the light’s colour and zoom, you can use an external DMX controller. There is aninput for a wired connection, as well as a wireless DMX receiver. The wireless option is extremely convenient for outdoor lighting setups, allowing you greater placement options for the light and control from a distance. Using 8, 16, 19, 21, 29, 35 or 38 DMX channels, you can operate each of the four light rows separately, as well as the colour mixing, zoom, dimmer and strobe effects.
