Perfectly designed for use at home and out practically for gigs, the SM40 active DJ monitors are an affordable, versatile solution for your set-up. Implementing them in your studio will make listening back to mixes and sets effortless, ideal for producers, beginner, advanced and mobile DJs.

Your DJ monitor speakers can be connected to numerous external audio sources like computers, smartphones or mixers using the RCA line input on the master speaker. In studios, connect these devices to hear your demos and recordings back so you can manage your mix and decide what sounds the best for you. To use out at performances, place the SM40 monitors in your booth and connect with a mixer so that you can hear your final mix clearly and in real-time with no delay.

The master and slave speakers can be used together by connecting them with the included speaker cable. Spanning 120cm, the cable allows the DJ studio monitors to be placed in opposite corners facing the user on their leftand right side. This will emulate a live performance in that the audio will arrive on either side of them. 

The active DJ monitor has an integrated 100W amplifier, engaging an impressive amount of power and clarity in its sound. This speaker will power the passive speaker and also means that you won't need an additional amplifier in your rig.

Additionally, the DJ studio monitors are a two-way system. Housed in a sophisticated MDF casing are a four-inch woofer and one-inch tweeter that cover the high and low-end frequencies in your output music. Optimise the blend of audio with adjustable tone dials that can subtract and amplify the level of bass and treble.
