The SPL-500 PA amplifier from Skytec is a high-quality power amplifier with a 500W power rating and user-friendly functionality for an easy setting up process. The two channels provide 250W output each at 4-Ohms and 200W each at 8-Ohms, making this PA amp perfect to be used with different models of passive speakers with various specifications.
On the front of this PA power amp is a 3-band graphic EQ with individual low, mid and high sliders. By adjusting these sliders, you can fully customise the frequency response that the amplifier provides to your speakers to match your exact preferences perfectly. During live events, this is useful, as you will most likely be playing different music with varying frequency ranges.
There are three RCA line inputs on the back of this PA amplifier that you can connect devices like mixing desks into for wired audio playback. Once one or more devices are connected to the RCA inputs, you can use the input selector switch on the front of theamplifier in order to choose which input channel you want to hear the audio from at any time.
As well as the RCA line inputs, there is a 3.5mm Jack AUX input on the front of the amplifier that gives you the ability to connect a device like a laptop or smartphone. This is great during small functions in pubs, as you can quickly connect your device in order to play any music of your choice.
