Smart ceiling speaker system including an amplifier and preamp, a subwoofer and four ceiling speakers. The amplifier is connected to the smart preamp which allows you to connect a range of devices, including a TV, to play audio over the system. The two-way speakers provide a well-rounded sound, with the low-end enhanced by the provided subwoofer. This sound system is perfect for installation in your living room, kitchen or bedroom.

The amplifier and preamp in this ceiling speaker kit work in combination to handle the audio input. Because it is a smart pre-amplifier, you can connect with it over WiFi to play music from your preferred streaming service or online radio, which can be done with either a wired or wireless connection. There is also an inbuilt receiver for use as a Bluetooth ceiling speaker system, allowing you to play any kind of audio, as well as an AUX input. This range of listening options makes this WiFi ceiling speaker system perfect for use at home.

The inclusion of the preamp ensures a more accurate sound with less distortion. This comes with volume, bass and treble controls so that you can fine-tune the sound to your liking. In addition to the options for connecting audio devices, there is also an optical input on the preamp which enables you to connect a TV. This results in a more immersive viewing experience at home.

To provide the sound output, a set of four Q Acoustics QI65C speakers are provided. These have a coaxial driver layout, with separate tweeter and woofer drivers for handling bass and treble frequencies. This ensures a well-balanced sound, which is great for music as well as providing the clarity needed for spoken audio like the radio. All of the speakers have white grilles to blend into the ceiling, and have a UL94 flame retardancy rating that protects them against excessive heat to enable kitchen installation.

Also included in this ceiling speaker kit is a white Q7060S subwoofer, which is also from Q Acoustics. It features an 8-inch high-excursion driver, enhancing the bass response beyond the range that a conventional full-range speaker is capable of. This gives a great depth to the overall sound output, which is perfect for music listening. The subwoofer also has a phase switch, which slightly delays the audio signal to ensure the subwoofer is synchronised with the speakers for an optimised audio output.
