This WiFi wireless ceiling speaker system is a complete setup that comes with two pairs of ceiling speakers and fire hoods as well as any cables needed to connect everything together. The inclusion of two pairs of speakers in this system allows you to play audio in two different rooms of your home simultaneously.
Featuring WiFi technology, this WiFi ceiling speaker system can be connected to your home network wirelessly. Once connected, you can use a smart device connected to the same network and use a compatible app in order to play music and adjust the volume of each pair of speakers from your device.
The WCS5 ceiling speakers included in this WiFi wireless ceiling speaker setup have an active/passive design, meaning that they are supplied in pairs with one speaker having a built-in amplifier and the second speaker being passive. Once they are connected to a mains power supply and linked together, they provide high-quality stereo audio playback.
Each speaker in this system has a 2-way coaxial design, meaning that there is a separate woofer and tweeter driver per unit. This design provides extremely accurate sound reproduction with a well-rounded frequency response which is ideal for casual listening while doing housework or as part of a home theatre setup.
This kit includes the HOODY 7 ceiling speaker fire hoods, which are to be placed above each speaker in the ceiling to prevent the spread of fire. As well as preventing fire spread, they also help to mute the sound being reproduced by the speakers in the space above where they are installed.
