Product Description

The Max SP12 passive speaker box is a 700W PA speaker suitable for small or large applications. When connected to a suitable power amplifier (not included), this passive loudspeaker offers efficient power handling and high-quality sound that will be sure to impress your audiences.

This passive PA speaker features a 3-way design with bass reflex ports. The 3-way design includes a 12" woofer, a midrange horn and a tweeter, whereby the frequency range of any audio is split between them for efficient and accurate sound reproduction. There are also two bass reflex ports for defined and deep bass response, great for larger spaces.

With integrated carry handles on each side of the speaker, this unit is extremely easy to carry and move between locations. There are also corner protectors built onto the unit, protecting it against damage when in transport to keep it in great condition.

Located on the bottom of this passive speaker box is a tophat mount that allows you to mount the speaker on a tripod stand. By doing this, the sound that the speaker reproduces will be better dispersed in a room, and natural vibrations and resonance will also be reduced to ensure accurate sound reproduction.

This passive loudspeaker can be connected to any suitable power amplifier using the 6.3mm Jack or bare wire clip terminals. The Jack connectors provide a simple plug-and-play connection to an amplifier which is more ideal for mobile use, while the clip terminals provide a more secure connection, ideal for permanent placement in a venue.

Product Questions
Can I add this to my Vonxy 8" Active speakers to give me more bass
Question by: Kevin Gorst on 6 Dec 2022, 11:07
It depends on the outputs available on you specific speakers, though even if connection is possible the built-in amp on an 8" speaker will struggle to run an additional passive unit.
You really need to look at a powered subwoofer for this to be worthwhile. Given you are only using 8 inch speakers i assume its for home use or very small gigs, a home cinema sub such as this active 12 would be perfect - https://electromarket.co.uk/fenton-shfs12b-12-active-subwoofer

We have PA subs but they are considerably more money.
