Product Description

The Vonyx SWP18 PRO active DJ subwoofer is designed to deliver deep, powerful bass for clubs, DJ performances, and live events. Featuring an 18-inch woofer, a built-in 1200W amplifier and an active low-pass filter, it provides an impressive bass response ideal for large venues and events.

Equipped with a 1200W amplifier, this DJ-powered subwoofer speaker produces a powerful resonance-free bass output with a frequency range of 35-250Hz. The built-in amplifier ensures a consistent, powerful performance without the need for external amplification. An active low-pass filter and a phase adjustment switch allow the sub’s output to be optimised to complement the satellite speakers and to suit different venues and music styles.

This DJ bass subwoofer includes XLR and RCA input/output connections, making it compatible with various audio sources and sound systems. The IN/THRU connections allow multiple subwoofers to be connected in a chain, ensuring expanded bass coverage in larger venues. These versatile options make it easy to integrate the sub into existing DJ or PA setups.

Designed for practicality, this active DJ subwoofer features a tophat mount in the top panel for secure placement of a satellite speaker using a pole. It also has a robust design with an MDF cabinet and extra-hard coating for durability, along with recessed handles for easy transport.

Overall, the Vonyx SWP18 PRO active DJ subwoofer produces powerful low-end frequencies, perfect for DJs, clubs, and live events needing deep, controlled bass. With an 18-inch woofer, a built-in 1200W amplifier, an adjustable low-pass filter, and flexible input options, it is a great addition to any setup.

Hi could you please explain and show with a diagram how to connect this subwoofer to a pair or vonyx AP1500ABT 800W via the XLR ports. I have the XLR cable to link them both together so they work off one remote. Wanting to just increase the bass many thanks Dave
Question by: Dave on 15 Aug 2019, 21:52
If you are connecting up both of the AP1500ABT speakers together, then you would need to come out of the XLR line output on the 2nd speaker and into 1 of the XLR inputs on the subwoofer
