Detailed Features and Their Benefits

Performance Power with Flexible Output

Delivering a solid 120W output RMS power, this amplifier copes effectively with demanding acoustic environments. Its ability to switch between 100V line amplifier mode and low-impedance 8 Ohm operation makes it ideal for both extensive cable runs in larger facilities or localised setups in compact locations. Users benefit from reduced signal loss, improved audio clarity, and installation adaptability across diverse venues.

Wireless and Digital Audio Playback

Integrated wireless BT functionality and USB/SD ports enhance audio versatility significantly. This ensures convenient playback from popular digital sources, eliminating the need for additional equipment. ID3 tagging via LCD provides clear track information, improving usability and enabling quick navigation between audio tracks.

Comprehensive Professional Connectivity

This Commercial Mixer Amplifier includes two microphone/line inputs with 6.3mm jacks, two RCA line inputs, a dedicated RCA line out, and two XLR microphone inputs featuring selectable 24V phantom power. The phantom power especially improves compatibility with high-quality condenser microphones, facilitating clearer announcements and communication. Additionally, the VOX priority function ensures critical paging and alerts override standard audio signals when necessary.

Reliable Emergency Backup Power

The PRM120 supports a 24V emergency battery input (battery not included), essential in situations where uninterrupted communication is crucial. Automatic mute controls, protection circuits preventing overheating and short circuits, plus delayed switches, provide operational security and peace of mind during power outages or emergencies.

Adjustable Audio Controls

Built-in bass and treble tuning allows fine adjustments to suit acoustics in varying settings, making the amplification suitable for both announcements and ambient background music. User-adjustable EQ levels provide clarity customised to specific user preferences, room acoustics, or installation conditions.

Applications and Use-Cases

Ideal for diverse audio system applications:

  • Industrial Facilities: Supports clear communication and emergency paging across noisy manufacturing plants or warehouses, ensuring essential alerts are clearly audible.
  • Commercial Environments: Useful in retail outlets, offices, and conference spaces for announcements, background music, and public safety broadcasts.
  • Public Areas: Reliable messaging and ambient sound distribution in schools, transport terminals, leisure centres, and town halls.

These diverse scenarios benefit significantly from the PRM120 mixer amplifier's flexibility, ensuring consistent audio performance tailored to unique environmental demands.

Product Questions
Can I hook up a sub woofer to this amplifier?
Question by: Jim Atack on 25 Aug 2022, 10:38
This amplifier does have a line output, so an active subwoofer with line level input and built in filter crossover would work. Most of our subwoofers are suitable for this - https://electromarket.co.uk/hifi-speakers/hifi-subwoofers

Hi . How i need to wire my speakers for this amplifier? Paralel or all radial?
Question by: Alban Bendaj on 17 Oct 2024, 16:20
The best way to wire speakers to this amplifier is by daisy-chaining in a parallel configuration. Please note that the speakers you use will need to be 100V line, not low-impedance
