The mesh heads featured on this drum kit have adjustable tension that makes them feel very similar to the heads on an acoustic kit. This is a good starting point for beginners, as it will give you the ability to also play a regular kit with the same feeling. The rims are also very low-profile, minimising the possibility of unwanted rim shots. Additionally, this mesh head drum kit will make a lot less external noise when struck compared to a kit with rubber pads, so you can practise for as long as you like at any time of day without disturbing your household.

This beginner electronic drum kit is equipped with two headphone outputs, so you can practise using headphones if it is not always practical to be playing out loud. The second output is great for if you have a teacher who wants to listen in to your practising, or if you want to show a friend how far you have progressed. There is an inbuilt metronome, which is great for helping to develop your sense of rhythm, as well as backing tracks that you can play along with. A monitor is also provided in this bundle for if you want to play the drums aloud. It has a 10-inch bass woofer driver to provide an excellent low-end sound output that is perfectly suited for drumming. It comes with a volume control, as well as dials for adjusting the treble, mid and bass response to perfect the sound you want to create. This speaker is great for giving you a feel for playing drums live, and is suitable for using to rehearse with a band.

These electric drums for beginners also come with a stool and a pair of headphones, making this a complete package that allows you to begin playing immediately. The stool’s height is adjustable, and it has a three-legged tripod design for stability.
