Amplifiers are essential for passive speakers to operate, but you need to ensure that the amplifier you are using is suitable for your speakers. To know if an amplifier is suitable, you need to consider the wattage ratings and impedance rating. The wattage that an amplifier provides the speakers with allows them to work at their maximum volume level without any issues. You can use an amp with a lower wattage than your speakers, but this means your speakers won't sound as good as they can be.

The impedance rating that an amplifier is capable of providing is a highly important factor to consider when matching one up with your speakers. If you use an amplifier that isn't manufactured to power speakers with a lower impedance, then it can easily overheat when the volume is turned up and this can cause it to fail.

Our power amplifiers feature multiple input options which is useful if you have a variety of equipment that you're looking to connect. This includes Bluetooth connectivity if you want to connect a smartphone wirelessly which is ideal for use at home. Wired inputs are another option which can include 3.5mm AUX, RCA or 6.3mm Jack connectors. These are great to wire an external audio source such as a mixer or laptop into the amp, and these connections are best used in live scenarios as they are more reliable than wireless audio streaming.
